Um, I'll try and give you critiques on your art as best I can, if you'd like. In general, I'll just say that using references (photographs and non-cartoon art) is the best thing ever. Even tracing is extremely useful. Doing that helps you get the standard proportions in your head, and once you have that, you can tweak them to make your style unique, cuter, cartoonish, whatever you want, and it looks a lot more natural. Get your hands on an artist mannequin (those little wooden ball-jointed guys) for posing if you can, as well.

Hey, you have the honorable benefit to do whatever you want with your work as you damn well please to do. I always work like this and it helps balance your mindset so much: look at everything you have as a WIP, unless circumstantially you have to give that up such as you're gifting it to somebody or using it for serious presentations among many others, but you look at everything as it can be a WIP you will feel better about it because you can always add or remove if you want, renovate it if you want, work with it in different perspectives, work with different mediums relating to the same piece, like writing a story from a picture, if you want, you can abolish and forget about it, or learn from a mistake, if you want. You can do what YOU want.
It is so outmost helpful, I can't describe...
It helps you take CC or suggestions or ideas better too.

The people who don't do this and feel funny about making changes with their art are either circumstantial, and that is ok at times, or they're the pessimist type who believe that 'this finished piece is as good as it's going to get' or are delusional that there is such a thing as 'job as an artist' which there is NOT. There are only jobs in which incorporate art in hold and most people wouldn't want to use their art for that, unless of course their only goal is to collect money, and that usually involves in getting ripped off and ripping people off.
So forget it all.

Being an artist means you're interested in working with art and you are willing to learn more and try new things.
It's good if you want to improve your art for yourself.
Not because some dumpshit decides to prattle about it, and you know what I'm referring to.

You do just all that without thinking about it, so you're in the clear.
UNTIL you start putting yourself down! Or forgetting people care about you? How many dan times do I have to tell you I care and that I would help you, including if you want to go along and try to improve a couple of things you should work on, I'll just be honest about it and actually help you to do it, and keep doing it on your own. And as for the RPing and TM.
People who can't think for themselves get on my motherfucking nerves more than anything in the world because t causes all of the problems, all of them.

Of fucking course Karkat would act in a caring manner to his matesprit or who he would like to be his matesprit, if he is red for them and certain.
I think this mindset people have comes from Karkat and Terezis interactions, which, is not even announced as truly being in any quadrant at all! Although it could! But not in the presented material.
Or they go on a pairing that they're biased about shipping hard, and everyone must like that pairing, and they go off of that. KarkatxJohn is the big one there.

It is not that Karkat can't handle a redrom, I think he can, and he'd be befitting if such was the case.

But it's of how he would treat someone differently.

And other trolls have had the same experience, Vriska is a perfect example of this. She is red for John, she treats him very different as to she would treat another individual and it's very apparent, is she out of herself? No? She has feelings, and they know reason that reason doesn't know. That is all.
